WI Alliance Officers and Executive Board

President - Leon Burzynski

Leon Burzynski is a retired member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 494 in Milwaukee.  In addition to being an active retiree, he currently serves on the Executive Board of the Wisconsin AFL-CIO.  He has also served on a number of school and village boards.  He and his wife Carole, are former managers of Clare Meadows, a 175 unit independent senior living community in Franklin.

Executive Vice President - Bonnie Greasby

Bonnie Greasby is a retired American Federation of Teachers (AFT) member who has served her union in many different capacities.  She served as Vice-President and President of her local union, Vice-President of Wisconsin AFT and has worked as an AFT Regional Organizer for Southeast Wisconsin in the last two presidential elections.  She is on the Executive Board of the AFT Wisconsin Retiree group, is the editor of its newsletter and also manages their website.

First Vice President - Joanne Bruch

Joanne Bruch was a member of and a staff representative for the International Union of Electronic Workers (IUE) in Milwaukee before retiring.  She is an active member of the Walworth County Democratic Party.  She served on the Wisconsin Council of Senior Citizens and was a founding member of the WI Alliance for Retired Americans.

Secretary - George McKinney

George McKinney was an employee of Unit Drop Forge Company in West Allis.  He has been an active member of the UAW for over 35 years.  He has served as Vice President and President of his UAW local in Milwaukee.  He was also an active member of the Wisconsin Council of Senior Citizens and a founding member of the WI Alliance for Retired Americans.

Treasurer - Darold "Dode" Lowe

Darold "Dode" Lower has been actively involved in the labor movement since the 1970's when he was the Vice President of AFSCME Local 284 in Eau Claire.  He moved on to become a staff representative of AFSCME District Council 40, representing workers in the Madison, Janesville and Beloit areas.  Currently, he is president of AFSCME retirees Subchapter 52.
